AI Transparency
1. How Elyvite Uses AI
Elyvite uses artificial intelligence to prepare content for health professionals and to support research. The content on the platform is AI-generated; it organises and condenses existing expert knowledge and links back to the original source. The AI does not create new medical knowledge.
The illustrative preview images are also AI-generated and serve purely illustrative purposes.
2. AI Models We Use
Elyvite uses leading external AI models, including those from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI, to prepare and translate content and to provide the research features.
3. What AI Does and Does Not Do
Within the product, the AI performs the following tasks:
- prepares content into structured articles
- classifies content by medical specialty
- translates content into six languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese)
- supports your research queries
What the AI expressly does not do:
- diagnose or assist in diagnosis
- prescribe or recommend treatments
- replace healthcare professionals
- create new medical knowledge or research findings
- provide individual medical advice
4. Content Accuracy
All content on Elyvite is AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies, simplifications or errors. We strive for high quality but cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy. We recommend that you:
- verify critical information against the linked original source
- treat AI-generated content as a starting point for your own research, not as a final reference
- base clinical decisions on your own professional judgement
5. Your Rights Under the EU AI Act
Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “EU AI Act”), you have the right to know when you are interacting with AI systems. Elyvite meets this transparency obligation through:
- clear labelling of AI-generated content
- this transparency page
- the notice that external AI models are used
Elyvite is classified as a limited-risk AI system under Art. 6(3)(d) of the EU AI Act. Our core obligation is therefore transparency towards you, which we fulfil through this page and through labelling within the product.
6. Data Processing in AI Queries
The following principles apply to the use of the AI features:
- Requests sent to the AI providers are anonymised; no personally identifying information is transmitted.
- By design, no personal health data is sent to AI systems.
Important: Please do not enter personal health information in your requests. Our systems are not designed to collect such data, but we cannot prevent accidental entry.
More on this in our privacy policy.
